Logistics Specialist

Job Description

Are you an experienced logistics professional driven by the passion to optimize Supply Chain operations? Do you excel in data management, analysis, and have hands-on experience with SAP? Join our team as a Logistics Specialist for Sweden and contribute to delivering exceptional Supply Chain experiences to our customers.

As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in executing logistical operations, ensuring seamless stock management, invoice verification, project management of optimizations projects and overseeing carrier and supplier relationships. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and controlling warehousing and distribution costs, conducting in-depth cost development analysis.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact with 4PLs or carriers to manage operational issues, such as slot booking and quality checks.
  • Developing and maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and service levels, implementing improvement actions.
  • Conducting active inventory management to optimize stock reliability and accuracy while minimizing costs. Perform daily reconciliation analysis between SAP and warehouse systems.
  • Managing pallet movements and balances, ensuring maximum control of CHEP and EUR pallets.
  • Generating Purchase Orders (POs), verifying invoices, and resolving payment issues.
  • Manage supply chain optimization projects.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with SAP, including data extraction and Purchase Order management.
  • Proven experience in Excel, including building dashboards and working with large datasets. Proficiency in Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate findings.
  • Demonstrating a proactive approach to adapting processes, improving workflows, and driving continuous improvement projects.
  • Previous experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics role is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in a Nordic language is a plus.
  • Autonomous working style.
