The Procurement function in JDE is on the journey to a Worlds Class Procurement Organisation delivering towards JDE Business ambition. Key responsibilities of the function is to deliver the most competitive cost & cash base and sustainability to create top line value by building and managing a resilient supplier base, and to champion a culture of pride and performance.

Reporting to Global Strategic Sourcing Director, the Global Strategic Sourcing Manager - External Manufacturing ensures a development and execution of robust sourcing strategies, developing buy vs. make framework for key EM categories. Productivity accomplishments, key EM suppliers development and relationship management are in the focus of the role. The responsibilities include:

  • Develop robust global category sourcing strategies, lead execution and track benefits realization;
  • Build effective relationships engaging with stakeholders across regions, functions and business units that maximise value and drive continuous improvement;
  • Identify and prioritise opportunities to deliver total cost of ownership savings across categories and drive the implementation of the plans to capture those opportunities;
  • Steer Global EM agenda across regional Procurement teams and Global central functions;
  • Manage supplier selection process, negotiate & contract key suppliers and ensure contracts execution.

For this role as a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager - External Manufacturing, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience;
  • An excellent track record of delivering “best in class cost and cash results”;
  • Successful experience of leading cross functional teams that focus on the total cost of ownership as a key target;
  • Resilience & ability to work in a demanding environment;
  • Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
